My Story
The turning point wasn't a program. It was a conversation.
A friend who happened to be a coach sat with me for two hours and asked questions no trainer had ever asked — about my stress, my sleep, my history with food, what I actually enjoyed. For the first time, someone built something around my real life. And it worked. Not just physically. My energy changed. My focus. My confidence. My relationship with myself.
I became obsessed with understanding why that approach worked when everything else hadn't. I got certified — then re-certified. I studied nutrition, behaviour change, movement science, and coaching psychology. I started coaching friends, then their friends. Then I left my career to do this full time.
That was over ten years and 200+ clients ago. Along the way, my own athletic career kept pushing me forward — competing as a USports athlete, testing myself at the CFL combine, years in competitive CrossFit, finishing an Ironman 70.3, and now training for a full Ironman. I don't just coach this stuff. I live it.
My work has also taken me into professional sport. I've worked with athletes competing in the CFL, MLB, and NHL — building off-season programs, managing in-season load, and supporting recovery from high-level injury. Coaching at that level sharpened everything: my understanding of periodization, nutrition timing, and what true performance readiness looks like.
Those same lessons flow directly into how I coach every client. The gap between a professional athlete and someone working their first 5 AM session isn't as wide as people think. The fundamentals are the same. The details are what I bring.
